For nearly half a century, Daly City has been home to the largest Asian demographic in California. The Filipino community has roots in Daly City going back 50 years, and once a year the Filipino Community celebrates that heritage.

The Daly City-Quezon City Sister Cities Committee (DCQC) and Serramonte Shopping Center, welcomes you to participate and celebrate Filipino culture, food, and entertainment at the 16th Annual Fil-Am Friendship Festival, September 17th & 18th from 10am-5pm. The Daly City festival remains as the longest-running Fil-Am event in the Bay Area that is free to the public, which means high traffic for vendors and sponsors.

Our last event drew a crowd of 3000 people and over 80 vendors over the course of the festival weekend, and was covered by the major Filipino TV Stations, newspapers, and members of the media.

Each day will be filled with the aroma of famed Filipino barbecue and delicacies, and vendors highlighting Filipino culture and crafts. Attendees will be able to enjoy their food while being entertained by renowned singers and artists from the Bay Area. After sampling the different delicacies and entertainment, there will be plenty of shopping and education at a variety of arts and crafts booths.

The DCQC is extending an invitation to be a part of this community celebration and become a sponsor for the event. The organization says the exposure is great and the cause is fantastic, and there is no better value.
